I am currently an applied scientist at Amazon.
I received my BS in mathematics from the California Institute of Technology in 2014. I received my PhD in statistics from Wharton at the University of Pennsylvania in May of 2019, and my advisor was Po-Ling Loh. I was a postdoctoral researcher in the Machine Learning Department at Carnegie Mellon University until December of 2020.
I grew up in Thompson’s Station, Tennessee, and I went to high school in Nashville. Here’s a picture of Nashville hot chicken, just because.
And here’s another picture of hot chicken.
Check back later for more hot chicken.
Outside of work, I have a number of hobbies. Check out my blog for the latest.
